A stable future for Wobbleg.com as the business secures venture capital investment. Wobbleg.com the Yorkshire based business that provides a solution to the problem of Wobbly furniture, started 6 months ago by inventor Julian Bradbrook, has recently signed a deal for an undisclosed amount of venture capital investment. The investor is Robert Taylor, a Shropshire based businessman and online entrepeneur. This is great news for the future of Wobbleg as Rob has over 20 years business experience and specializes in online businesses. "It's just what we need to take the business to the next level. Rob will be adding his expertise as well as his money" says Julian. Rob said, "When I was approached by Julian regarding investment, I knew straight away that it was a business with a big future. I was aware of the competition from Stabletable which is a rival solution to the wobbly furniture problem, but after seeing the Wobbleg in action I could see it was far superior and easier to use than the Stabletable product. We are going to really push Wobbleg over the next 6 months, to take a bigger share of the market. We aim to be market leaders for this solution within 2 years and are forcasting sales of 5 million units within that time". It is no surprise that Julian and Rob are very up beat about the future of the business. Wobbleg will be signing distribution agreements over the next couple of months to further enhance their market share. They are also in talks with a number of retail outlets. Wobbleg currently retails at £4.99 for a pack of three units but wholesale deals can be negotiated. Wobbleg can be purchased direct from the website at www.wobbleg.com
New Invention ‘Wobbleg’ Marks the End to those Annoying Wobbly Tables & Chairs A simple yet highly effective invention called Wobbleg (www.wobbleg.com) has just been launched and looks set to finally bring the nations wobbling chairs and tables to a steady rest. There is nothing more annoying for diners than to be seated at a table or chair that rocks and rolls around – and that’s before you’ve had a drink! Indeed a recent survey of over 500 diners revealed that wobbly tables rank as the number one gripe. A staggering 89% called for the abolition of wobbly tables in restaurants while only 13% said that children under 12 in restaurants are a big turn off. Wobbleg is the brainchild of Yorkshire based inventor Julian Bradbrook. The invention came to him in a flash of inspiration whilst sitting at a wobbly table. “There has to be something better than an old beer mat to solve the problem” he thought, and so Wobbleg was created. Wobbleg - a combination of the words ‘wobble’ and ‘leg’ - works by placing it under the leg of a wobbly table or chair and then turning the device until its thickness matches the gap between the leg and the floor. “It’s a really simple idea but it does the job perfectly” said Julian. In the past there have been a number of inventions which have attempted to steady tables and chairs but they have all been far more complicated, and therefore expensive and prone to damage. A single Wobbleg retails for just 99 pence while for those establishments with more than their fair share of the wobbles, larger quantities are available at prices reduced to 70p each for those buying a pack of 100. Wobbleg can be ordered directly and securely from the manufacturer’s website at www.wobbleg.com. Visitors to the website can also view a demonstration video showing just how easy it is to put an end to wobbly furniture. Wobbleg is expected to be in high demand from restaurants, cafes and bars in particular, though the device is also a winner around the home too. Not only will it put an end to furniture wobbling but it will also stop sofas from sliding or ‘creeping’ across laminated floors. Wobbleg is available in a number of colours to match the most popular decors. The company are also able to match a specific colour for larger volume orders as well as customise Wobblegs with a client’s logo or advertisement – ideal for clubs and bars. They say that the best inventions are always the simplest and that’s certainly the case with Wobbleg, one of this year’s most ingenious new products. For further information visit www.wobbleg.com |
